The Chocolate Fountain Hire Company
Definitions
In these conditions
“the provider” means Chocolate Fountain R Us.
“the supplier” means any third-party affiliated
operator.
“the hirer” means the person or company requesting
provision of hire items.
“the service” means the supply of the hire item (s) e.g.
the chocolate fountain, illuminated surround, mini
chocolate fountain.
“the hire item (s) means any hire item (s) or any item
provided as part of the service.
“the period of hire” means the period of the hire,
excluding the set-up and dismantling of the equipment.
“Force Majeure” means any circumstances affecting the
service beyond the reasonable control of either the
provider or supplier. Examples include any Act of God,
war, national disaster, lockout, electrical power cut,
fire or flood.
General Booking Terms
When a booking is made and a contract formed, the
Provider confirms the booking via email once a
non-returnable deposit has been received.
A booking form is sent by the Provider either by email
or post, this form must be completed with the Hirer’s
name and contact details within 14 days of booking.
The total balance minus the deposit payment to be paid
at least 14 days before the booking date.
The Provider or Supplier will not take responsibility
for delay in attending a venue as a result of road works
or traffic problems.
Hire Terms
In the unlikely event that the fountain should breakdown
or fail to operate as a fountain, the system will still
allow the guests to dip food into the fountain bowl
filled with chocolate for the duration of the event.
Cancellation
The Hirer must make cancellations in writing.
All deposits are non–returnable.
